About St Clair Veterinary Care

St Clair Veterinary Care opened its doors in July 2012 following the closure of St Clair Pet Care, which began many years ago as a dedicated neutering clinic. Originally located on Croft Road in Blyth, St Clair quickly grew, welcoming an expanding team of experienced vets and veterinary nurses.

In 2015, the owner purchased a local historic building that had fallen into disrepair. The property was carefully restored and transformed into a purpose-built veterinary hospital. In September 2018, St Clair Veterinary Care proudly moved into its new home — The Steamboat on Bridge Street.

Today, St Clair offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, including digital radiography and ultrasonography, surgical and dental treatments, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and an extensive list of consultation options.

As a passionate training centre, St Clair has supported and developed numerous student veterinary nurses and auxiliary nurses over the years. The practice also takes great pride in its strong ties to the Blyth community.

Above all, the team at St Clair Veterinary Care shares a deep passion for animals — treating every pet with the same care and compassion they would give their own.
